Hemp is a highly absorbent material and is naturally resistant to mildew, helping to keep beds fresh and hygienic. All the hemp is processed on site at the Harrison Spinks Farm, where we have recently tripled…

Meet Hugo, Our First Born

Monday, April 11th, 2016

You may remember Hugo – or Harris are he was previously known. He was a triplet, born early out in the fields. Unfortunately his siblings and mother did not survive, but little Hugo was a fighter and has been given lots of care and attention by everyone at the Harrison Spinks Farm, especially Jo. Hugo has been […]

Lambing Begins

Lambing began last week on the Harrison Spinks Farm a day earlier than expected, when Gary found a ewe had given birth in the field rather than in the lambing barns. Simon Spinks, Managing Director We spend a third of our lives in bed and getting a good nights sleep is important for health and wellbeing. Making fantastic beds is my passion in life, our ability to control this process makes this possible. That's why we grow our own fiber for carding in house at our factory in Leeds, we do not need to import our wool and this reduces our carbon footprint. All of the beds we make are hand built not mass produced and they are to customers specification with choices of firmness. Harrison Spinks is a family business and I am proud to say I come from a line of bed obsessed individuals that enjoy nothing more than building the best beds possible, naturally. Sleep well. simon@aharrison.co.uk
