Sheep Shearing

The sheep had a wonderful day with the arrival of the long awaited mobile salon. The girls had been pouring over magazines for months deciding on styles according to the latest trends. We had to draw the line at 'chemical straightening' due to cost and time....
Steve's customers enjoyed the spectacle - although we had no volunteers to try shearing. The guys that come to the farm can sheer a full sheep in less than a minute. It really is a skill that continues to be handed down through the generations, that said, the electric shears do speed the job up!
The sheep are sheared once a year and a bizarre calculation by Simon suggests two and a half sheep = one bed....!
